The exhaust pressure sensor is used to connect the exhaust manifold with a vacuum pipe. With different engine speeds and loads, it senses the vacuum changes in the exhaust manifold, and then converts the changes in the internal resistance of the sensor into voltage signals for the ECU to correct the fuel injection quantity and ignition timing angle.
